Reading a Wave

Task two was to make a story board from the materials we found. We did this by making 34 slides in a sequence, and placing them in a box.

Our 3rd task was to choose 8 images from our sequence of 34 and change them to either quicker, darker louder or mute images in black and white; the colours of the images in relation to the tonal range and mood; and to change them to a geometric form.
I did the geometric one using cut out shapes.

We then had to make a 2D doll of a character in our story, i choose Mr Palomar, and did i quick collage of how i would imagine him to look like.

From all the tasks and bits and pieces we found we decided to make an animation for our performance...

To show our animation we found an old gold frame, and filled the centre with a white piece of card to project our animation onto...

we took lots of picture moving the bits of and pieces slightly each time.

who am i and what i want

Here are a few drawings from my summer project were we had 25 different aspects of our personality to illustrate through drawing; these included personal details such as; name, age, date of birth etc then our requirements, expectations and hopes. i tried to stick to just drawing with just pencil, fine liner and ink, but really wanted to do some cutting and sticking; I'm not proud of these images because i felt like i rushed them and ran out of time, but i think they pretty much get what they are meant to get across.
