We started of by thinking up a story of how our world was formed, kind of like a Genesis story. we thought about how we would live in it and the types of rules and regulations you would have to follow living in it.
THE GOOD APPLES MANIFESTO.
In the beginning a mysteriously magic seed was planted into a tiny terracotta pot on the windowsill of Mrs Pip. Each morning she would water and feed and talk to her little seed. She loved and cared for it like her own. Little did she know that her love for the little seed would grow into us, The Good Apples. Her intense love for the seed created a power, which spun out of control and created our world. As the seed sprouted and grew bigger and bigger, a small bud bloomed and burst into our protective orb shaped realm. Emerging from the dust of the tree, we were the first five. We spent the first seven days collecting materials to create our den and making tea and cupcakes. We loved our home and each other, which kept our orb in peace and harmony. But as time went on, love spread and other less developed orbs emerged from the trees branches. Some of these unfortunate little apples were not open to our loving society and slowly began to rot until the tree could not hang onto these bad apples any longer! They plummeted to their appley deaths into the pit of deteriorating cores. This caused us to call an urgent tea party of the most serious nature, to prevent these fatalities. We formed The Ten Core-mandments.
THE TEN CORE-MANDMENTS
1) SAY YOUR PLEASE AND THANK YOUS 2) ALWAYS EAT YOUR GREENS 3) BE KIND OR BE KILLED 4) BAKE A LOAF A DAY 5) BE PREPARED FOR BREWING 6) DANCE TO THE RHYTHM OF THE NIGHT 7) KEEP CLEAN YOU SCRUBBER 8) FEED THE RAVENS AND SEND THEM WITH MAIL (RAVEN MAIL) 9) NEVER RUN IN THE ORB 10) COMMUNICATE ONLY THROUGH CUP AND STRING IF YOU FAIL TO FOLLOW THESE CORE-MANDMENTS YOU WILL SHRIVEL AND DIE.

to show our manifesto we thought about how we could bring our different ways of working and styles together, we came up with making a set to then photograph...
here are some of the little bits and bobs we made to put into our orb world (jar) from things we had found and lots of sweets and cakes...
we then set these things up in the jar to try and show our manifesto story, with different cut outs of us guys in different positions and set ups to photograph, out side in the garden; here are some of the photographs we used for our book ...
this is our final manisfesto we made froman old book we found, we then atched up the photographs with the text...
when we thought about reproducing our masisfesto, we decided to photocopy it and stick each page toegther so it would fan out.
over easter we were set the tasks to make our society more real; this included making things such as pass ports, flags, id cards, currentcy etc...
i worked on a newspaper layout and ID cards.
